I like to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Family Systems Therapy.
I try and create a very warm and welcoming environment so my clients can feel comfortable and express themselves. I believe clients like my welcoming nature and ability to understand their feelings and empathize with them.
When I was in college, I lived in a house with numerous women, and many would come to me for advice or confide in me. After pursuing a career that was not for me, I was attending therapy.
