Groups
Body Image Support Group

In this group, folks gain insight into their unique relationship with their body’s lived experiences. Participants learn to navigate negative self concepts with compassion, explore how body image impacts identity and overall well-being, and process experiences of weight stigma and anti-fat bias. Folks who join this group also foster connection and decrease feelings of isolation while exploring complex topics while cultivating a more understanding and harmonious relationship with the body. There is opportunity to explore group themes through verbal processing and art therapy modalities. This group is facilitated with a HAES approach. Group meets virtually.

Art Process Group for Anxiety

First and most importantly, there is NO ART EXPERIENCE REQUIRED to join this group! This focus will be on expression, mindfulness and the creative process, not on creative product or outcome. In this 6 week group, folks will be regularly invited to engage in creative making as a way to better understand anxiety symptoms and their impact. Group members will explore anxiety's impact on decision-making, relationships, self-concept and overall well-being. There will be opportunity to foster connection and decrease feelings of isolation, while gaining mindfulness skills and compassion to better understand anxiety. Group starts April 22!
