She has over 10 years of clinical experience and specializes in working with children. Through play therapy, she has experience helping children to overcome symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger/aggression, compulsive behaviors such as skin picking or hair pulling, sexual abuse, family conflict, and more.
Sometimes children are unable to talk about their experiences because they don’t have the ability to talk about it- they need to play about it. Play is a wonderful way for children to express what they’ve suppressed. I’m certified in TraumaPlay and am trained to look for the child’s need underneath the behavior you see.
In addition to providing individual therapy to children, I enjoy parent consultation. I want to give you the compassion and care you need to do the hard work of parenting.
