Have you been thinking about therapy for a while? Maybe you'd like to assess a relationship or process a major change? Let's uncover that extra insight you're looking for. And talk about tools, tailored to you, to get you enjoying your day-to-day again. We'll likely use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and, where applicable, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman Marriage Therapy and Postpartum Support International (PSI).
I've lived in the DMV for more than 5 decades, so there's a good chance I can help connect you with physicians, support groups and other local resources.
And I supervise exceptional Residents in Counseling, offering individual & couples therapy, a slightly younger perspective, and lower rates.
Our practice has a specialized grief support group, "Parent Loss in Young Adulthood" for women in their 20's and 30's. Lead by Jane Lowery, MA, LGPC, it meets Tuesday evenings online. Please see Jane's flyer in the Gallery and contact us if you'd like to set up a free consultation.
