My clients are typically dealing with a variety of barriers as a neurodivergent individual, or as a caretaker/loved one. They often struggle with organization, memory, sleep, and burnout from anxiety/racing thoughts. They struggle with motivation to take action on needed changes. My clients often struggle with obsessions (intrusive thoughts) and compulsions (unhelpful behavior), or are very meticulous, detail oriented, and over controlled where it often interferes with their close, personal relationships. Loved ones worry about the future of their neurodivergent kid, and if they will be able to meet the demands of adulthood.
I help individuals who identify as neurodivergent and struggle with barriers commonly associated, including emotional overwhelm, low motivation/difficulty with change, and over control.
I coach caregivers on needed skills to improve emotion regulation, effective communication, and problem solving needed when caring for a neurodivergent loved one.
