She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Kentucky, and is committed to ongoing education and actively engaged in social advocacy causes that contribute to social progress. She is trained in EMDR and currently undergoing sex therapy certification.
