In the family-building years, I help with challenges such as anxiety, fear, guilt, negative relationships, addiction, family conflicts, trauma, and other distressing emotions that impact one’s ability to function. With older adults, I work on managing transitions like retirement, downsizing, family and friends moving away, and chronic or terminal illnesses. These life experiences often bring on depression, anxiety, loss of identity, and even loneliness.

Are you over 60 and wondering what’s next? This is a small group for adults over 60 struggling with issues around aging, loneliness, purpose and connection. It is a 6-week, in person group on Thursday mornings in our Naperville office. Sarah Mehany, LSW has specialized training in the geriatric population and is a wonderful group facilitator.
