Personally, I have seen the power that comes from a listening ear and a nonjudgemental approach to therapy. I have seen people transform when given the space to be authentically themselves. Sometimes, we struggle to find someone who will provide a safe and inviting space for us to share our story and our struggles. I counsel all people, but I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, school issues, and family issues. I also work with couples who are navigating their relationship and trying to improve their communication and the quality of their partnership.
If you don't have hope right now, I can hold the hope for you until you can see it again. I use a combination of Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I like to see the big picture of my client or couple.
My goal for therapy is to provide a safe and affirming place away from the busyness of life. Your story is worth hearing and worth sharing. If you feel numb inside, lost, and anxious/ sad, I am here to sit with you and help you find some direction. For couples who are feeling stuck, scared, or confused about your future, let's sit down and talk.
