I am a warm and engaged therapist with a focus on practical solutions. My 20+ years experience includes work with clients on a variety of important issues: relationships and parenting, anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder. Also, issues experienced by children of divorce, and issues related to children and adolescence (including college populations). My approach, in addition to exploring feelings and examining past and present relationships, emphasizes practical solutions to current relationship problems and issues raised in therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families (both short and long-term).
In addition to my work in private practice, I have supervised the treatment of graduate students and undergraduates at Brooklyn College where I had also been an adjunct professor in the psychology department. I have led groups for single women and new parents and work with clients from a diversity of backgrounds and experience. I welcome your call.
