As children grow and mature, they face a wide variety of developmental challenges. Parents can begin to wonder, "Is this behavior normal?" or "Do we need help?" Oftentimes, the answer is yes to both questions. With over twenty years of experience in providing counseling services to children and teens; I have been able to help them and their parents navigate a wide array of issues. Because parents are the most important people in any child's life, I strongly emphasize family involvement in the counseling process while protecting the client's confidentiality.
In addition to my work with children and adolescents, I work with couples as well. Using the Gottman method, I have taught couples specific tools to deepen friendship and intimacy while productively managing conflicts.
