Its difficult finding a therapist. It means being vulnerable, asking for help, and taking time out for it. When starting therapy, take the pressure off yourself. We will sort things out. Sometimes in life you just need a break and someone you can count on. Someone who is not going to pass judgment, make any assumptions, or say anything unhelpful. That said, therpy often reveals the truth in some things, and that can be painful. And sometimes pain needs to be felt.
I am a gestalt therapist with advanced training in gestalt based theory and practice. I work with clients seeking therapy, I offer supervision to students pursuing licensure, and I work with licensed therapists who are seeking supervision, teaching, or training in gestalt therapy.
