We are often told to “just get over it”. Although often well-intentioned, this saying is neither helpful or realistic. It is my firm belief that we don’t “get over” things, but we make meaning and learn to live with our experiences. As a certified EMDR therapist, I take pride in helping people do just that. Trauma impacts us all in unique ways and EMDR can help people achieve a variety of their personal goals related to healing, growth, and becoming “unstuck” from past experiences. From minor to major traumas, I am committed to helping you overcome your past and look forward to your future without fear and distress.
In addition to being a trauma-focused therapist, I am both experienced and comfortable working with an array of clients with differing backgrounds and therapeutic needs. I work with clients of various ages, and individuals of all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, and sexual orientations. All walks of life are safe & welcome in my practice.
