I work with survivors of childhood abuse, those with PTSD, and addictions. Abuse and trauma leaves a lasting impact on your body and can create symptoms like anxiety, depression, substance abuse, troubled relationships, and insomnia. Is it difficult to function in day-to-day life or do you feel like you just can't get it together? You may be feeling lost, hopeless, stuck, and afraid. Therapy can provide a time to be understood and heard in a safe, confidential place. We all have strengths and the answers inside of us, but sometimes we need help peeling back the layers. I understand because I am a survivor of trauma too.
I use techniques that help you release your trauma, give you the tools to calm your overstimulated nervous system, and regain a sense of control over your life. Counseling is a transformative process where one can learn coping skills, how to manage emotions, and identify triggers that cause emotional turmoil.
Helping people live a better life is my passion. It might mean learning to set boundaries, working on relationships, or helping you change a pattern of behavior that is keeping you stuck. If you would like to heal from your trauma I am here to walk that path beside you. Contact me today for a free consult and we'll get started on your journey together!
