What brings you to seek therapy is personal, important, and deserving of attention. I offer a non-judgmental and safe space to learn, grow, and share. I support adults as they confront transformation and change, such as relationship issues, grief and loss, and adjustment to illness. I have extensive experience helping people cultivate and maintain recovery from using substances.
I am psychodynamically oriented therapist, meaning I’m thoughtful about the impact that early life experiences have on our understanding of ourselves; while each of us is greater than our symptoms (biology, families, relationships, and environments) each of these have shaped us and therefore exploring their impact in essential to our work together.
I support people by helping them build upon their strengths as they find a balance between change and acceptance.
