It is frustrating, confusing and lonely when we feel like we understand our struggles intellectually, but feel completely incapable of making the changes we most want.
If you've done talk therapy before and felt like it was maybe helpful, but are looking to go deeper so that you can have the job, relationships and life you're truly wanting, I'm the therapist for you.
I use a body-oriented approach to therapy. We can read all the books, understand the theories, and know where our patterns come from, but change truly happens when we're able to connect to our internal resources and process through the stress our bodies are holding.
I provide education and orientation around the role your body and nervous system play in holding stress, anxiety, and trauma. I love creating an empathic space for us to work towards you feeling more connected in your relationships, having more control over your life and emotional well-being and pursuing the work that is most important to you.
I offer in-person sessions in Arlington, MA and telehealth to MA, MD and DC residents. I offer a free 15-20 minute zoom consult to all prospective clients where I can learn about what's bringing you to therapy, answer questions you may have and talk about how I might support you in meeting your goals.
