About
Life is a journey and there are moments we can feel stuck and uncertain about ourselves and our path. Engaging in therapy is a chance to open up in a safe environment in order to start getting unstuck and work towards meaningful change. I am a strong believer in the importance of our mind-body connection and believe mental and physical health are interrelated. My goal in our work together is to personalize an approach with you that is mindfulness based and integrates all levels of human functioning—body, emotions, mind, relationships, spirit–and works at the level that is best suited for the particular challenges you are facing.
In addition to mindfulness, I bring strategies informed by many strengths-based psychotherapy traditions. Most often I use combinations of cognitive and behavior (CBT/DBT) therapies, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
It takes courage to consider reaching out for help and begin to take steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you on this journey and it is my hope that through our work together you will be able to live in greater alignment with your values in order to live your fullest life possible.
