Something tipped the scale – a crisis, life transition, or enough of the same thing. You’ve tried to get through on your own in healthy and unhealthy ways, and now, you're ready for something different. While your story is your own, my clients find comfort in having an experienced therapist support them in navigating the themes, feelings, and difficulties that are more common than they ever knew. It’s less lonely that way. I often use EMDR to help clients reprocess difficult or traumatic experiences, to find relief from symptoms, feelings, and thoughts about themselves, that have been troubling them recently or for years.
I have extensive experience working with victims of trauma (complex, childhood, and sexual) from assessment through treatment. I have provided care for clients receiving in-patient care for chronic and acute mental health conditions. I also enjoy supporting those navigating issues related to family and children (including perinatal mental health).
Looking for a therapist is vulnerable and brave, and those two characteristics make the difference. I am here to support you through the next steps. Appointments can be made on my website 24/7. Offering: standard weekly/biweekly sessions, extended sessions, and intensive-style sessions (when available, case-by-case).
