I love working with youth and their families. I am deeply passionate about assisting those I work with to find their voice again. I am skilled at helping others learn how to advocate, love, and believe in themselves. I believe that true growth only occurs when a person is allowed to shine. I enjoy working with college students, those who are navigating adjustments and change, LGBT+ and Black and other PoC populations. Anti-Racist and Feminist ideology inform my practice. I enjoy supporting those who have been historically excluded and do so with deep conviction and dedication.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who specializes in working with youth and their families who have experienced complex trauma. I also have extensive experience working with adults needing assistance while experiencing depression, ASD, ADHD, anxiety, major life transitions, PTSD, and are working through multigenerational trauma(s).
I approach therapy from a holistic and family systems lens. I utilize therapeutic models as Psychodynamic, CBT, TF-CBT, Mindfulness, Structural Family Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I understand one size does not fit all and, so, typically, utilize the treatment approach that will best suit my clients. I am very relational and attachment focused.
