"A journey begins with a single step." Today it is easy to feel disconnected from people in our lives. I believe awareness, exploration, and communication of feelings is key to becoming reconnected with others as well as with ourselves. I work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. I use a strengths-based approach and am trained in Internal Family Systems. I have experience with crisis work, long-term, and short-term therapy. We will start where you feel comfortable taking your "single step" and the journey will go at the pace we set together.
LBGTQIA+ community welcomed! I have extensive experience with the trans community, and their families, especially while transitioning. I worked with adolescents for years in a school setting, and feel that one of my strengths is connecting with this population and helping them navigate all that reaching adulthood entails.
I am skilled in facilitating communication and identifying and removing barriers that can impair connection and impact personal relationships. In addition, I am trained in Internal Family Systems, which is the premiere model for treating trauma and anxiety.
