Historical trauma can present in present day in many ways; anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, sleep problems, fears, avoidance, feelings of being out of control, and more. There is hope for change! I work with trauma as a primary focus in my practice. Trauma can influence all of our experiences; often creating reactions instead of allowing us to feel that we are in control and making choices.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, unique to each person, and should be treated as such. My primary form of treatment is EMDR. EMDR is helpful in addressing a variety of primary concerns. I have experience with and enjoy working with adolescents, adults, men, first responders, and individuals with have extensive trauma histories.
