I am Sarah-Kate Hawkins, a highly motivated, creative, and versatile Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 30 years of experience working successfully with teens, adults, families, and couples. I specialize in assisting those with anxiety, behavioral issues, attachment-based issues, low self-esteem, parenting difficulties, academic issues, chronic stress, sexuality-based concerns, family conflict, and much more. I earned my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University.
In sessions, I use a combination of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), and supportive family therapy. I understand that life is challenging and that everyone needs a bit of reassurance and care.
