My overall objective is to provide a safe, supportive environment for clients where they can gain insight and when needed create change to move towards living a more authentic life. I work with clients on a wide range of issues including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, grief and loss and life transitions. I have experience working with adolescents and their families, individuals managing a diagnosis of a mood disorder or anxiety disorder, domestic violence survivors, seniors and their adult children and postpartum women.
Having over 25 years of professional experience has prepared me to be an effective therapist to clients presenting with a wide variety of issues. I utilize a assortment of therapeutic approaches which allows me to individualize the treatment plan for my clients. Some methods utilized include Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am honored to support individuals and families as they do the rewarding work of moving away from pain and towards hope.
