Hi there, I'm Sarah! I am a Professional Licensed Counselor in Louisiana. My goal is to provide a supportive and structured space where you can build resilience, gain insight, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges. My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused therapy. CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work collectively with clients to help identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.
During our first session, my priority is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We'll start by discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your concerns, background and any specific challenges you are facing.
