Thank you for visiting my page! I have 15 years experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma and substance use issues and also have advanced trainings in eating disorders and internal family systems. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and am EMDR certified. Each person is treated as an individual when we work together. Once your goals are clarified I can follow your lead or provide more structure. Whether you're interested in learning skills to cope with everyday stress and relationships or shifting more internal patterns and healing deep rooted trauma, I can happily assist.
With a combination of EMDR, parts work and/or talk therapy, I can help you explore yourself, why you do the things you do, work through barriers to change, develop skills and reprocess past traumas. If you have habits or tendencies you can't seem to change, EMDR can help by altering neural pathways so you can feel, think and act in a healthier way.
I am confident that I can meet you where you are in order to help you get where you want to go. However I am aware that the decision to seek help and finding a therapist, can be the most difficult part of treatment.
