Sarah Jacques, LMSW, celebrates clients as unique, whole individuals who are more than just a collection of their struggles. With a strengths-based, person-centered, and culturally respectful approach, she joins with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families to help clients build confidence and address their challenges. Sarah's strengths include working with gender non-conforming youth and youth experiencing anxiety and depression. Her warm and grounded approach makes her effective at working with teenagers, especially those reluctant to engage in therapy.
Sarah is also a positive and playful supporter for children, helping them grow their social and emotional skills while working closely with their guardians to help them support their children at home and school. She offers parent-focused therapy and is trained in the S.P.A.C.E. approach by Dr. Eli Lebowitz of the Yale Child Study Center.
While Sarah enjoys her work with children and teenagers, she also greatly enjoys working with young adults and adults and encourages those interested to contact her. She hopes to hear from you soon to provide the warm, non-judgmental, and down-to-earth support that you or your child have always deserved.

Being an autistic woman or non-binary person is a unique experience that is not widely discussed, and can leave a person feeling unseen and misunderstood. By joining this group, you'll have an opportunity to connect with others who may relate to your experience and face similar challenges to your own. This group is for women, female-identifying, and non-binary autistic people. We will meet every first Wednesday of the month from September 6, 2023 to February 7, 2024. Please call our practice manager, Cathy O'Donnell at (301) 417-5979 ext 0 if you are interested.
