I help people with their relationships; how they relate to themselves, with others, and finding meaning in the world around them. My clients see themselves as curious, intellectual, self aware and different. Many have experienced relational trauma as a child or adult. This has left them feeling alone despite being surrounded by others, with a desire to people-please, a sense of over-responsibility, or feeling like they're behind an invisible wall unable to connect. Many carry guilt at their inability to be the kind of person they strive to be, or feel as if they have to lower their expectations of others simply to connect.
My work is depth-oriented, relational, and experiential. We use conversation, imagery, EMDR, writing, or art-making to explore what is beneath anxiety, conflict, and disconnection. I don't rely on worksheets or skills training; instead, we work toward insight, emotional movement and lasting change. Conversations about the spiritual and esoteric are welcome.
I am an integrative depth therapist; a licensed art therapist and couples therapist. I am also a wife, mother, compassionate community member, RPCV, spiritually aligned Quaker, and international traveler. I started my career in NYC after attending Pratt institute, and have practiced in both West and North Africa before settling back in the US.
