Providing therapy services to people of various ages, ethnic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and socioeconomic status is something I am familiar with, and enjoy doing. I have experience providing multicultural counseling in my graduate school internship, and working in eating disorder treatment & recovery in the past with teens and adults. The main issues I work with individuals on are anxiety, trauma/CPTSD, ADHD, grief/loss, and relationship issues to name a few.
Everyone deserves to be listened and attuned to. I hope to show my clients what a healthy, positive therapeutic relationship can look like. My aim is to provide a space where my clients feel seen and heard, while also learning to handle their distress. Promoting self-awareness and aiding others to be able to regulate their emotions is key in my work.
The goal and outcome of therapy is to heal, which is an ongoing process. What I mean by healing, is discovering the tools to sit within & uncover new ways to deal with our pain. Transformation can and does happen in the therapy room.
