I help young adults process the unique challenges of their age, tame their inner critic and self-doubt, and heal from trauma. Together we will get really curious about what makes you tick and how your current patterns and coping mechanisms came to be. This will help us piece together what needs to be heard and healed so that you can move through life a little more easily and authentically. We can work through trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, shame and guilt, decision making, emotional regulation, feeling lost or purposeless, and many other issues.
I believe that the relationship between a person and their therapist is essential for the success of therapy. My clients would describe me as easy to talk to, genuine, warm, inquisitive, and validating. While I take therapy seriously, I also think laughter is a powerful medicine too. If you're a visual learner, we might work particularly well together.
I also have experience working with college and graduate students, queer and trans folks, other social workers and therapists, and people from diverse religious backgrounds. I offer free 15-minute consultations for prospective clients, so if you think we might work well together, reach out and let's chat!
