You might be seeking therapy for one problem, or perhaps a variety of problems that are interconnected. My clients come to me feeling overwhelmed and seeking a more sustainable way to experience life day-to-day. I might be a good fit in helping you make positive changes in your life and start feeling better if you: Are tired of feeling ashamed about your body; have a complicated or love-hate relationship with food; feel like you are under too much pressure at work or in your relationships; or are a high achiever but never feel like you are (or are doing) enough.
My approach begins with creating a space of acceptance, honesty and respect where clients can feel safe to step into self-exploration and take risks in order to build self-awareness and create meaningful change in their lives. I integrate relational, trauma-informed, action-oriented, and evidence-based therapies to help clients work toward lasting change.
I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University and earned an advanced certification (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) through International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I also received extensive training in Family Based Treatment (FBT) through the Training Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders.

In this group, we will: Explore emotions, thinking patterns and behaviors associated with the eating disorder; work toward accepting thoughts and feelings; find safe and meaningful ways to express ourselves; learn ways to foster a sense of connection and hope for lasting recovery. Individuals are welcome to join at any time, however, in an effort to create a safe and cohesive environment, we do ask that each member make a commitment to attend at least 6 out of the 8 weeks.
