My down to earth style, arising from over 25 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children, creates a comfortable, safe environment where together we learn to understand you. I provide individual, couples and family therapy to enable you to better cope with life's continuing challenges. I have extensive experience with individuals who are having trouble coping with depression, anxiety and trauma history. I also enjoy working with couples who are struggling in their relationships. I have a certificate in Advanced Trauma Treatment and I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work with couples.
My therapeutic orientations are Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Psycho-Educational, and Solution Focused. My clinical experience includes helping people with mood disorders, depression and anxiety. I use play therapy and family therapy with children and their parents. I completed Level 3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couple's Therapy.
Change is possible. Individuals come into treatment to change their behavior, their mood, and more importantly, their lives. Families come into treatment to improve communication and to find ways to work through tough situations. Together we can make change possible.
