I support teenagers and adults navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions. I help clients wanting to stop feeling controlled by symptoms of mood swings, bipolar, anxiety, and depression. I often support clients processing the loss of a loved one or other deep life changes. Generally, I love working with seekers, people who are exploring existential questions and are ready for change. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to help you gain trust in yourself and get in touch with your own inherent wisdom
I offer a blend of somatic and experiential therapies. I bring in research based models like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I also love to incorporate meditation, art therapy and humor if that’s your style. Our work can unfold in my office, online or through nature-based hiking and walking sessions.
I bring years of experience working with people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve served as a school counselor, professor and facilitator of wilderness trips. My interest in people has taken me around the world, from leading study abroad courses to supporting refugees in war zones. My approach to therapy is warm, down to earth and lighthearted.
