It has been wisely said that we are wounded in relationship AND we heal in relationship. Out of our wounding, we develop patterns that emerge to help us navigate our environments. These patterns can also keep us from being fully present to our lives, leaving us feeling stuck, exhausted, anxious, ashamed, depressed, and lonely. My approach to therapy is led by kindness and curious exploration, supporting you as the client to identify the genuine longings under these patterns.
I am a certified NARM therapist, which is used to specifically help those who are experiencing the effects of attachment, relational, and developmental trauma. I am also trained in Somatic and Attachment Focused (S.A.F.E.) EMDR, a model that considers how trauma affects an individual’s ability to regulate the nervous system and to connect with others.
