In our world today, cultivating satisfying, fulfilling relationships while maintaining a healthy body and spirit is a difficult task. Individuals, couples, and families come to me because they may feel stuck in their lives, bogged down by a recurrent problem, or are simply wanting to build a happier, more fulfilling life. The decision to seek therapy is rarely an easy one, so I work hard to create an atmosphere of warmth and collaboration. I recognize that real-life, tangible results are an integral part of therapy; my clients leave feeling empowered and with a specific understanding of themselves that leads to long-lasting change.
I work with a wide variety of populations but have a special interest in students and young adults struggling with family and intimate relationships, individuals or couples grappling with a variety of issues, and those healing from trauma. Non-judgmental acceptance, humor, and flexibility are essential pieces of my work.
I received my clinical training in Couple & Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA and my doctorate from California Southern University.
I also offer psychological testing that can diagnose an array of psychiatric issues, including (but not limited to) ADHD, Autism, and cognitive deficits.
