Finding someone you can trust to talk to is tough. My role as a counselor is to create a safe space for people of all backgrounds, classes, orientations and creeds in order to process and receive support. My goal as a counselor is to empower, encourage, and assist my clients in improving their quality of life and making the changes necessary to achieve their goals. My counseling style is collaborative and direct (with a dash of humor) to ensure we are making progress and always striving towards growth.
My expertise is focused in substance abuse and trauma. I am able to offer insight into issues surrounding substance use disorders, relapse prevention, PTSD, sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, religious abuse/shame, relationship issues, and everyday life stressors.
I work solely on a sliding scale as I believe everyone deserves access to mental health treatment regardless of their financial situation. I am here to help and would be honored to assist you at this point in your life journey.
