Accepting new clients-What does a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) do? Glad you asked! Not only do I work with couples and families, I also work with individuals and expand beyond the individual to get an idea of how your environment affects you. Through my training and life experiences, I have come to realize how much people are impacted by the relationships in their lives. Part of my approach to therapy is to explore the various relationships in a client's life. Which could include romantic partners, family relationships,
professional relationships or social support systems. I am looking to identify patterns in these relationships that could have an effect on my client currently. I will use my skill set to create a safe space for you to share your story and identify goals for yourself and your relationships.
My goal is to work with you to understand your situation and design a workable plan to improve your circumstances in some way. I want to help you develop the tools to improve your day-to-day for now and the future. I am excited to have the opportuniry to work with you!
