I work with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, life transitions, daily stressors, and LGBTQ+ identity development. I enjoy working with college-aged students, children and adolescents aged 11-17, and young adults. I promote advocacy for all clients and specifically work alongside the LGBTQ+ population to promote equality for all in and outside of the counseling room. I strive to provide a safe, judgment-free space for clients to achieve their goals. My intention is to help clients navigate daily stressors, presenting concerns, and interpersonal challenges while encouraging personal growth.
My therapeutic approach is predominantly person-centered paired with techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness practices. I am a queer and trans inclusive, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, sex positive, pro-BLM, and fat-positive clinician.
