Every client is unique and it is my job to assist you through transforming pain and other emotional distress into hope, strength, and positive change. I offer you a patient-centered partnership, to support and empower them in making informed choices that will lead to meaningful outcomes. Identified concerns are evaluated from an integrative mental health perspective to understand psychological, health, and relational dynamics. Through insight-oriented conversations and creating a safe space explore oneself, I work with you to identify barriers and emotions, behavioral and relationship patterns, and achieve change.
I specialize in integrative mental health, teen/young adult, and relationship counseling, ages 11+. I have training in and offer co-parent and reunification therapy. Common concerns treated include, but are not limited to, anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, identity development, high performance, trauma, divorce, relationships, and sexuality.
My clinical experience has been working with adolescents and adults, providing individual, family, and college counseling. I am a professor for SUNY Oswego’s graduate Counseling program. I am a Past President of the American Counseling Association of NY, and am a member of the ACA, APA, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
