My clients are burned-out peacemakers suffering from anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. They put others before themselves and struggle to set boundaries. Many had childhoods where their emotional needs weren't fully met and may struggle with ongoing difficult family relationships. I do a lot of work helping dynamics between adult children and their parents. Our work is a process of learning who they are, what they need, and undoing the unhealthy patterns that keep them trapped. I provide virtual individual, family, and couples therapy.
I focus on anxiety, family relationship distress/confIict, trauma, people-pleasing, and self-esteem concerns. I use an integrated approach utilizing emotion-focused therapy, family systems therapy, and mindfulness. I help clients deepen their understanding of themselves and challenge narratives that no longer serve them.
