Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oklahoma City. First, I want to acknowledge how difficult it is to seek support and get involved in therapy in the first place so congratulations on taking the hardest step to take care of yourself in the best way you can. Throughout my almost 5 years of experience in community mental health and private practice agencies, I have found joy and grown my expertise and interest in working with clients who have more high risk behaviors. I have a passion for suicide prevention efforts and use DBT and CBT strategies to support clients who are struggling with self-harm and SI.

DBT Psycho-Education Skills Groups - Coming soon!
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as a modality offers a skill-based approach to treatment. In DBT psycho-educational groups, the group will focus on emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness and distress tolerance efforts to manage and build a life worth living. DBT Groups will be private pay as psycho-educational DBT groups are innately different than group therapy and aren't covered by insurance. If comprehensive DBT is what you are seeking, DBT groups will be mandatory and will be discussed when discussing treatment coordination. DBT psycho-education groups can and are helpful for anyone wanting to benefit in outlined skill sets above.
