About
Hi there! I'm currently working on my postdoctoral supervision hours for full licensing as a psychologist in North Carolina. My experiences are wide-ranging including settings such as outpatient community mental health, residential placements, and inpatient units. I've provided services to both individuals and couples, working on issues such as anxiety, depression, neurodivergences, anger management, substance use, trauma, intimacy and sexual concerns, family discord, communication, and so much more. I endeavor to create a safe environment for all clients in order to work alongside you in reaching your goals.
I believe in being authentic and comfortable with myself and with my clients. I'm sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, kink/BDSM knowledgeable and friendly, and also polyamory-positive. I strive to use my natural curiosity to emphasize cultural humility within therapeutic relationships.
On a more personal note, I'm a cis-gendered White female (she/her/hers) who identifies as queer. I am also very much a nerd-of-all-trades. I enjoy gaming and reading, and I hoards books like a bookwyrm. I also enjoy spending time with my fur-babies, family, and friends, exploring cities, and the outdoors.
