As a licensed social worker for twenty-five years, I have worked with a wide variety of individuals and families providing both in-home and outpatient-based diagnostic and therapeutic services. I have often worked with children and families in the child welfare system. I treat a history of complex trauma as well as children/adults with depression, anxiety, or other adjustment needs who are facing barriers to moving forward and achieving their goals. I am an independent contractor.
I have found success utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and DBI strategies as well as expressive art and sensory interventions.
