My hope is that our work together can reignite those things that bring you the most joy and life. Often this process involves working through the impact of loss, pain, or trauma in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. I work extensively with artists, musicians, womxn and queer folx, and much of my experience centers around religious trauma and spiritual wounding. My work is informed by feminist/queer theory, and humanistic and existential perspectives of psychotherapy. I often incorporate the use of mindfulness techniques and I am trained in numerous evidence-based clinical treatments including IFS, AEDP, ACT, and EMDR.
I hold a Doctorate in Social Work (PhD) from Washington University in St. Louis and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from New York University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have nearly 20 years of clinical experience. I am licensed in both Tennessee and Missouri.
I am thrilled to offer online sessions, which brings therapy to the comfort of your home, car, or office space. I use secure, videoconferencing software for all teletherapy sessions, which provides great flexibility, convenience, and privacy. I would love to talk with you about my practice and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to reach out.
