I understand the ways in which trauma and distress lead to suffering and blocked goals. With over 10 years as a mental health professional, and a deep commitment to my own healing and growth, I offer a space for therapeutic work that is both well-informed by research and training and personally connected. I help my clients feel more authentically aligned with their true self, to address the ways past trauma, loss, or instability might be causing conflict or distress, and to increase a sense of agency and choice in life.
I utilize Mindfulness and Acceptance-based therapies, Internal Family Systems-informed Therapy/parts work, attachment theory, somatic-based interventions, EMDR, DBT skills, and Systems-Centered Therapy. I believe good therapy addresses mind, body, and spirit. I am affirming of diverse gender and sexual identities, celebrate and support diversity
Much of what we go through as humans we have not been given a map for, nor have we been given the tools to climb out of distress. Fortunately, those tools exist, and I can help you find the tools you need to live the life you want.
