Sometimes, this is due to painful experiences from the past that we haven't had a chance to begin to heal from. We might have difficulty moving forward after losing a loved one, relationship, goal or dream. Other times, it’s the things we believe about ourselves and the critical things that we constantly say to ourselves, perhaps without even realizing.
I graduated from Rowan University with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. My experience includes working in hospital based trauma programs. I also have experience working in the outpatient group private practice setting, prior to starting Find Kefi Counseling.
It is a pleasure and privilege to be a therapist. I am in awe of the ability to hold space for healing, hope and growth in the therapy room. It is my desire to make every person I work with feel accepted, cared for and supported. I value connecting with my clients and I believe that therapy is relational.
