About
Dr. Dihmes is a licensed clinical psychologist one of the few board certified biofeedback psychologists in Northern California. With specialties in life stressors, executive coaching, psychophysiology, and teens, she has expertise in working with a wide range of psychological concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions and chronic illness. Dr. Dihmes' integrates evidence-based treatments such as CBT and mindfulness-based interventions, with consideration for each patient’s unique cultural, biological, and psychological background.
Dr. Dihmes enjoys working with adults and teens in San Francisco and Corte Madera. She also provides video or telemedicine services for patients across the state of California. She has made numerous presentations, developed and led workshops, and published articles in women's health, behavioral medicine, and organizational psychology.
Dr. Dihmes was an integral part of the Psycho-oncology program at Johns Hopkins University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Maryland and Baltimore VA Hospital and completed her post-doctoral fellowship with emphasis in Behavioral Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center.
