People who meet with me want relief from anxiety and depression, complex grief, and acute and developmental trauma. Their relationships and work life seem more confusing or less sure than they seem like they should be - or were. Day to day life might feel a bit out of control, sometimes overwhelming, or at times, like it's quite fragile. Pleasure, happniess, fun, or fulfillment may seem like something only for other people. All of these feelings can seem to stick around like an unwelcome guest who just never seems to get it: time to go. And then, the guest returns. People contact me because they want a way out of this kind of life.
