We all experience some sort of pain, stress, trauma, or adversity in our lives and relationships. When our hearts ache, we search for ways to cope. These initial ways of coping are adaptive in the short term. However, in the longer term, these same coping strategies may hinder further growth and healing. You and I can work together without judgment to dismantle painful experiences and cultivate a strong, empowered, and healthy core sense of self. You can realize your full potential and mobilize into healthy and constructive patterns of thought, behavior, and emotion. Whatever your crux issue is, we can work through it together!
I specialize in anxiety-related concerns, trauma, and post-traumatic stress. Traumatic events can be experienced at any age and in many forms (physical, sexual, emotional). Together we will develop a therapeutic strategy that is trauma-informed and tailored to you individually. This will provide an optimal path toward recovery and resilience.
Recovering from painful experiences can be a long and complex process. It is difficult to do it alone. Relational support is often vital. It takes strength and time to trust. I encourage you to be courageous. Reach out to me or another therapist and make this first hopeful step toward finding someone to walk along this road with you.

I am in-network with Aetna, Oxford, United Healthcare, and Oscar, but I can provide a 'superbill' for reimbursement for out-of-network clients. I do offer sliding scale as I recognize the cost otherwise is a barrier - please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

I specialize in trauma, PTSD, and complex forms of traumatic experiences and their impact. My neurobiologically informed approach focuses on the relational component, as much of my research is around disclosure and social response that can perpetuate PTSD symptoms. I value transparency so you know what to expect. We will first explore what brought you here and co-create a plan for moving forward.
