I have also led groups supporting caregivers of trans and non-binary youth. Throughout my training I gained experience serving youth who experienced early childhood trauma, college students seeking help so they could stay in school, and parents needing support to be the best they could for their children. I am now a professor of psychology, which helps me stay up to date on the most recent research and practices.
I want you to get the most out of therapy! We will create measurable goals and track your progress. You can expect our work together to focus on understanding the role your emotions play in what's going on for you, identify how your strengths can be leveraged, and for you to feel affirmed in who you are.
