I am passionate about supporting clients in overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and life changes. I use a strength-based, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed approach to counseling. Many of my clients come to me wanting change because they are tired of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, and stuck. Some of my clients have done counseling before, but it didn’t go deep enough to understand and explore how patterns and experiences from the past are showing up in their lives now. I will work with you to determine the root cause of your struggles and use evidence-based approaches to support healing.
We've all experienced struggles, successes, failures, heartaches, and joys. I too have walked this path. I am human, imperfect, and continually growing. I believe that everyone has resiliency, the capacity for change, and personal strengths to improve their lives. Sometimes we just need tools, guidance, & support. This is my role as your counselor.
I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidence-based approach to treating trauma and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the IATP.
