Hi, I'm Sarah.
If you're looking for someone to nod politely while you vent every week, I'm probably not your therapist. If you're ready to understand why you keep ending up in the same painful places—and actually do something about it—we'll probably get along great.
I help teens and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidality, relationship struggles, addiction, eating disorders, grief, and more. My style is relaxed, collaborative, evidence-based, and occasionally sarcastic. Therapy might include conversation, movement, music, or art—but it will always include real work.
My approach blends EMDR, ACT, CBT, somatic, and relational therapies, but I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Some days we're processing trauma. Other days we're challenging old patterns, building real-life skills, or getting creative. The goal is always the same: helping you build a life, not just talk about one.
